Furya is a five-piece live Turkish pop band from Amsterdam. We play the biggest Turkish pop hits of the '90s and 2000s with real instruments at our own concerts at Cinetol and Toekomst Muziek, and the nights usually sell out.

Furya shows usually sell out. Most have early-bird tickets for people who plan ahead, so get yours early.

The night

What is a Furya night like?

A true live music experience. The band plays for two hours, sometimes two and a half: Turkish pop hits from the '90s and 2000s with guitar, bass, drums, saxophone/clarinet and a powerful female voice, and no backing tracks. People dance non-stop.

Expect surprises along the way, such as quiz shows, belly dancers, DJs and competitions with prizes.

The crowd is a mix of nationalities, all curious about and interested in Turkish music.

The band

Who is Furya?

Furya started in Amsterdam in the summer of 2023, when Onur E. (guitar) and Özgür D. (drums) met through a mutual friend. The band played its first show in December 2024 at Matrix in Rotterdam, sold out, and has since sold out Cinetol, Volta and Toekomst Muziek in Amsterdam.
